Group surf lessons 2 to 4 persons

1,800 baht for surfers under 10 years old
If you’ve got two or more people in your group — or just want to meet some other surfers — a group lesson is a great option! They’re perfect for friends, corporate outings, or even bachelor/bachelorette parties 🏄♀️🌞
Our groups are small, with just 3 students per instructor, so everyone gets plenty of attention. It’s all about having fun and feeling safe in the water! If there are any little surfers under 10, they’ll get their own instructor for that extra one-on-one support.
Private surf lessons (1 on 1 with our head instructor)

We also have a 5-day private program for 12,600 baht (which includes a 10% discount).
Our head instructor will be there just for you, giving you full one-on-one attention — perfect for any age or skill level, whether you’re just starting out or looking to level up your surfing 🏄♂️
The private lesson runs for 2 hours. We start on the beach with some land-based tips and practice, then head into the water for more coaching. Before you know it, you’ll be up and riding your first wave!

We offer custom lessons where we focus on exactly what you want to improve — whether it’s paddling, pop-ups, turns, timing, or anything else. We’ll also help spot anything that might be holding you back and work on that too.
These lessons are totally flexible and tailored to your needs, in and out of the water. Great for all levels and all ages — as long as you’re keen to progress!

Booking Your Surf Lesson
Beginner Surfing Lessons
Group lessons run daily, but we recommend booking in advance during the surf season to secure your spot.
We don’t require a deposit for booking our daily surfing lessons but if you are booked in, we do appreciate you contacting us to advise of cancellation.
Private Surfing Lessons
Private lessons need to be booked in advance. A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking.
Surfing Rentals
In the surf season from May to October, most people go directly to Bang Tao beach and hire surfboards from our Surfing School without making an advance booking. In the off-season our equipment is rented from the Saltwater Dreaming Surf Shop.
Also if you would like to rent a surfboard other than a soft top you need to go to the surf shop. If you wish to make an advance booking to avoid missing out please contact us. You don’t need a deposit to book surfboard.
Cancellation and Refund Policies
To confirm a booking for Private Lessons you must pay a 50% deposit. This deposit is non-refundable if the customer decides to cancel the booking within 24 hours for a private lesson or within 7 days for one of our surf camps. Otherwise we will refund the deposit less 10% for booking fees.
We are happy to transfer your booking date, or transfer your deposit to another person, if places are available.
Lessons and deposits are fully refundable if the Saltwater Dreaming Surfing School cancels the surfing lesson due to extreme weather conditions or other circumstances.
Insurance
You should always have medical insurance whenever you travel abroad. Your medical insurance must cover you while you are surfing. It must also cover you in the event that you require emergency evacuation or repatriation.
